See the best Farmington MN foreclosures listings and bank-owned properties (while available.)
Farmington MN real estate…. the final southern frontier for the Twin Cities MLS market…where other budget-minded Minnesota homebuyers have gone before. Seriously, Farmington is on the outer limits of the metro area, and is affectionately called an x-burb by those who consider it still close enough to Minneapolis to commute (it really is) and who want to save big money on a foreclosure listing by driving an extra ten minutes or so. Hey, it’s a nice drive, so why not? Besides, Farmington is not exactly a one-stoplight town. Sure, you might still see a feed-and-seed store, but shopping facilities are good, and the school district is undisputedly one of the best in the entire state.
If you really want some lender mediated home-buying action, this Dakota County MN community is the place to be. There are some brand-new homes bearing oudated listing descriptions that say “not a short sale… buy at foreclosure prices,” etc, but if you look more carefully at the mls data sheets, you will see a note that says “lender-owned.” Brand new Farmington Minnesota homes that are bank-owned… does it get any better than this? There are a few “short-sales” opportunites as well. In fact, at the time of this post, you can buy a nice 3,000 square foot two story home with a three car garage for under 300K!
The links on the top of the page from the Farmington MLS/IDX system might not display every single short-sale or REO listing available. Call for more comprehensive information.
