Favorite Real Estate Blogs

Ok, so maybe I don’t read as many blogs per day as you think I should.  Why is that?  Well, there aren’t that many worth reading, quite frankly.  Many of them are just blogs about blogging, and are designed to attract the attention of other bloggers. What good is that?  That’s sort of like “preaching to the choir.” If you are looking for insight about real estate in MInneapolis or other parts of the country, then you may want to check these out.  This list will save you a lot of time.

Duluth Real Estate:  This site is relatively new, but is already brimming with local information and resources.  Tom Bridge is the owner of the site.  Tom is unusual, because he can actually take good photos.  Most agents cannot do this.  However, Tom has an exceptional talent for this and even has been published.  His primary camera is a 40D.  Tom has a photo blog component to his Duluth real estate website.  Be sure to check out some of his Lake Superior photos.

Real Sage Advice:  This Minneapolis blog focuses on the housing needs of senior citizens.  Lisa Dunn shares a wealth of information about dealing with aging loved ones.  Here is an excellent post about moving your parents.

St. Paul Real Estate:  Teresa Boardman is the proprietor of this blog.  If you are looking for someone who is faithful about posting on a regular basis, you have found your woman.  Teresa’s blog probably contains thousands of photos and articles of life about Minnesota.  If you subscribe to this blog, you will certainly get a good feeling for life in St. Paul.  Here is a useful article for sellers who are thinking of taking their St. Paul home off the market for the holidays.

Phoenix Real Estate Guy:  Not only does this guy know real estate, he knows how to blog frequently.  Also, he has a fantastic blog from a technical standpoint.  This is a Phoenix Realtor who knows html, css, and other scary things.  Here is an article about a ransacked Arizona home that was abandoned by a developer.  He left documents including loan apps, Social Security numbers, and other sensitive information.  Oh-boy.

ibrrealty.net:  Kevin Sharkey has a videoblog that offers solid advice for real estate agents.  He posts regularly, and discusses the latest real estate practices.  Here is a videoblog about how banks are dealing with foreclosures.
