This area is best known for the Forest Lake Chain of Lakes. Forest Lake itself is whopping 2,250 acres, 68% of which is littoral. The lake is 32 feet at its maximum depth. Water clarity comes in good at 6.25 feet. There are three public access concrete ramps, and no designated public shore fishing spots. The lake is stocked and managed for walleye and muskies. Walleye abundance is above average. Willow Point is a hot spot for walleyes during the first part of the ice fishing season. Large and smallmouth bass are also plentiful in this lake.
