Here are a few Lake Pokegama lakeshore properties currently posted on the Northstar Regional MLS.
Lake Pokegama is a respectable 6,612 acre fully-recreational body of water that is 114 feet deep at its lowest point. It has over 55 miles of lakefront, so you would think that there are would be plenty of homes for sale on Lake Pokegama. Not quite! Right now, at the time of this post, the Northstar Regional MLS indicated that there were only about three dozen lake homes for sale. The quality of this lake and the beautiful location in Grand Rapids, Itasca County will always create buyer demand.

That’s right. You read that headline correctly. Buy homes on Pokegama Lake, and you can have all the walleyes you want. They are waiting for you with “baited breath.” (Heh!) This lake has excellent structure, and, as you know, walleyes love structure. Be sure to check out the Wendigo arm of the lake. This part of Lake Pokegama offers ideal structure for walleyes. You can also have the other fish found here, including crappie, bluegill sunfish, “bucket-mouths” (largemouth bass) and those ever-feisty bronzeback beauties (smallmouth bass.) BTW, if you want some of those largemouth bass, head out for the cabbage beds in the evening and try your luck with spinnerbaits. Hang on to your pole.
All Lake Pokegama homes are priced under 400K, which is surprisingly affordable. There may be other lakeshore properties for sale that are not showing up on the Northstar Regional MLS system. Contact us to find out more.
