Downtown Minneapolis
Gratuitous photo of Downtown Minneapolis Minnesota.

  • Minneapolis & St. Paul Food Critics. Twin Cities real estate agents need to be able to talk to newcomers about the local restaurant scene. If your Minnesota real estate agent can’t talk about the food scene, you will think that he doesn’t know the area. But maybe your real esate agent just doesn’t eat out very much. After reading a few posts like A Rebours, your agent will sound like an expert, even if he suffers from White Castle cravings (like I do.)
  • The Twin Cities Breakfast Club Blog. Real estate agents need to know where to take their clients to breakfast. Here is one of their suggestions: A Date With Jay.
  • Smither’s Minneapolis. This is a good place to get a bicyclist-eye view of the city. Tidbits and morsels of Minneapolis life. There is a totally unrelated post i found there, that I just could not resist linking to: Purple Heart.
  • Adan Holte. Photoblog with some amazing shots of Minneapolis.
  • About Town. Great Twin Cities Minnesota blog by Megan Wiley about the local A & E scene. If you haven’t been to the Cabooze for a while, Megan will bring you up to date.
  • From a Farther Room. Award winning Minneapolis photoblog. Check out the famous Spoonbridge.
  • Judy’s Book. Indispensable Minnesota blog about finding everything from beauty salons to the best apple fritters in the world.
  • AimClear.com This is not specifically a real estate marketing blog, but Marty Weintraub can show real estate bloggers all about using the social media to boost traffic to their real estate sites. I know a lot of realtors who read this blog to find posts like How to Drive 280,402 Extra Visitors by By Blogging for 48 Minutes.
  • Online Marketing Blog. A blog that reminds us that curiousity is more important that information.
I Believe in Harvey Dent too.
  • Orlando Real Estate Photography sponsors a blog with some photos that are found in the MLS. Here’s a post called MLS Trash Can#30. The blog is a good reminder to all of real estate agents to use some discretion when posting listing photos. This is a blog that everyone will enjoy.
  • BlogBlond.com “The BlondLeading the Blind. Tips for Blogging Dummies. Good place for new bloggers. How To Get Six Pack Blog Abs.
  • Real Sage Advice. Senior housing is a specialty market and REALTORS won’t learn everything they need to know about it from their board or office meetings. Agents will keep tabs with this market by reading posts like More New Senior Housing in Plymouth
  • Twin Cities Staging. REALTORS need a place to refer to when helping sellers figure out how to stage their homes. Check out the “after photos” for staging a Minneapolis loft.
  • Technology for Real Estate. Agents try to stay on top of the technology with posts like The Future of Mobile Real Estate Technology is Upon Us. Hmmm. This site is mobile compatible, except for the idx search (searches for home from data provided by the Northstar Regional MLS.) Ooops. Looks like I need to get on that.
  • Mortgages Undressed. Here’s a place to keep updated on things like FICO and Credit.
  • NashvilleHomes.Org. Advice offered here applies to Minnesota as well. For instance, there is a blog post on “Selling in a Buyer’s Market for Nashville TN
  • Gin and Phonics. Bite sized reviews about eating and drinking establishments. Find out where to go for a Sunday Rehab Brunch.
  • Twin Cities Eats. Focuses on non-chain food establishments like Turle Bread Company.
  • RSS Pieces. Useful resource for beginning and veteran bloggers alike. Includes posts with basic blogging rules like : The Ten Commandments of Blogging and Commenting.
