On Monday, December 3rd, the Northstar Regional MLS announced that active listings for the Minnesota Arrowhead MLS (MAM) are available on the the MLS co-op system, including listings for Cook, Lake, and St. Louis Counties (which was overlapping with the Duluth MLS.) This means that listings in Babbitt, Ely, Chisholm, Grand Marais, Hibbing, Hovland, Lutsen, Silver Bay, Tofte, Tower, and Virginia. This means that agents in the Twin Cities can provide detailed information on more listings in the Arrowhead Region. You can already find many of these properties on the idx feed, or by using the Minnesota Lake Home Finder. The idx is the consumer feed that is supplied by the Northstar Regional MLS. At this time, almost all of the Twin Cities MLS listed properties can be found on idx feeds from search links on sites like this one.
The next big additions to the Minnesota co-op will be The Greater Alexandria Association of Realtors (early 2008) and The Range Board of Realtors.
In other MLS related news, new features will allow your agent to more easily sort thorugh listings for those with virtual tours, and for listings that are scheduled for open houses. Also, a statistics function will calculate cost per square foot on sold properties (this should have happened in the last century.) Welcome to the future!
