It doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat, Republican, or Independent. You may wonder if McCain will bring us endless wars, and you may wonder what Obama will do to the country. You may even worry about both of them. But one thing is certain; we do know that the Republicans are coming to the GOP Convention at the Xcel Energy Center. They have money and they are bringing it with them. They also need places to stay!
If you are a Minneapolis or St. Paul property owner in need of a renter, you may have heard a loud “ka-ching!” when you read that first paragraph. Money transcends political opinion. If you are a Democrat and own vacant property in need of renters, you will be happy to rent out your property to a Republican delegate.
There has been much speculation about this enormous need for places to rent during the convention, and apparently it is well-founded. The GOP Convention Strategies group contacted the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS recently, asking for help in this matter. Their clients are looking for homes to rent, because hotels in Minneapolis and St. Paul are already booked!
