1615 Wood Duck Trail, Shakopee MN MLS 3459268
$449,900

I moved to Shakopee years ago because I found that a short drive across the Minnesota River meant that I could buy a newer single family home for tens of thousands of dollars less than I could if I purchased on the north side of the river. I also found that there were plenty of amenities on the south side of the river, including dining, entertainment, and major shopping. Traffic was not an issue down here, and the MN 169 bridge makes access easier, although I find that the old MN 101 bridge doesn’t have much traffic at the times that I am crossing the river.
The same is still true today; you can find more square feet for the money than you can in Eden Prairie. Is Shakopee a good place to invest? No one can predict the future for certain. However, Shakopee is rapidly growing community. My own property doubled in value in the few years that I have lived here.

Check out this home:
- Four bedrooms
- Three baths
- Modified two story
- Triple garage
- Approximately 2185 finished square feet
- About ten years old
- Fireplace
- Eat-in kitchen and separate/formal dining room
- In-law kitchen
- 2.5 acre lot!
- Quiet, private area.
- Upgraded well water treatment system
- Only five minutes from shopping
