Staring Lake neighborhood is a community that was quality built by Pulte Construction in the late 90′s. The area is an ideal location because it is quiet and has easy access to major routes, no matter where you will be commuting to in the Twin Cities. There is convenience shopping within walking distance, and a very short drive to major shopping areas like Eden Prairie Center, Costco, Wall Mart, Cub Foods, and more. Staring Lake park, trails, and nature center are on the west side of the association. The neighborhood is well maintained and fees are low. Fees take care of water/sewer, snow-lawn, outside maintenance, and hazard insurance, and maintain a kiddie playground.

A large number of styles and price ranges co-exist in this neighborhood. Sometimes rambler-style side-by-side townhomes with full basements (some walkouts,) large open eat-in kitchens, sunrooms, and a foundation size of around 1500 square feet allow the possiblility of almost 3000 feet of livable area. Right now, there is only one unit like this for sale, priced in the mid 300′s. Call me right now at 612-296-0007 if you don’t want to miss out. I can also help you keep an eye out for rambler style units without basements. These sell for about 175k or so less, but the turn-over is low, so you need to be decisive if you want one.

The most common units are the two-story slab on grade townhomes with one or two stall garages, two or three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and nice sized walk-in closets. These are special units, because most homes of this type cannot claim their large pantry closets and true laundry room areas (instead of an appliance closet.) These will typically range from 180′s to low 200′s.

Staring Lake association is unique because it offers some of the nicest, newest, lowest priced side-by-side townhome opportunites available in Eden Prairie. The “village homes” have about 900 or so square feet, a tuckunder garage, sunny kitchens, a well manicured courtyard, and huge closets. Nine hundred square feet might not sound like a very large home, but you have to see these to believe the incredibly wise use of space. It’s a far cry from your apartment, there is more space, and its YOURS!
