This huge body of water is one of the best known Minnesota walleye fishing lakes in the greater Minneapolis area. Since it is a whopping 2427 acre, fully recreational lake, you might as well bring your water skis with you. Littoral area is about half of the lake (1314 acres) and the maximum depth is 83 feet. Water clarity is excellent (12.9 feet.) I don’t know why they call it White Bear Lake. It should really be called the Hamm’s Bear Lake, since it has the sky-blue water worthy of the large and famous beer-drinking animal. Eurasian milfoil has been reported here, but the fish don’t seem to mind one bit. If you want to own MN lakeshore on one of the best walleye hotspots close to the Twin Cities, this is the time for you to buy. Prices are good, and the rates could hardly get lower.

  1. That looks like a beautiful waterfront spot to throw out a fishing line. How is the waterfront real estate market in Minnesota?
